1. The picnic is Saturday, August 18, 2007 becuase we thought it would be nice for everyone to have a day with their families before they have to depart. And of course then we can all sleep in after our night of debauchery! hahaha *** New *** The Super Slide Amusement Park, next to our shelter #8, will sell us a sheet of 25 tickets for $10 and mini golf for $2.50 pp. They open at noon and will be expecting us...just mention you're from the reunion and they'll give you the deal! :) *** Please remember that the picnic is BYOB *** This means any drinks for you and your family...it's hard to know what people will like so we left the liquids up to you!
2. The numbers are in for the picnic and the banquet! You can still pay at the door, but please let one of the "Check-in Chicks" know if you are registering late and will try to accomodate you for the meal at Seven Seas.
3. If you would like to contribute any items to the memory table for the banquet night, please bring to the picnic, because I will be going that afternoon to decorate.
4. Also, please take a look at the new "Fun Time!" page that has been added. Share your memories and we'll read them at the banquet! We have a few, but it's not too late to send in your funny stories!
5. Please be kind to the check-in chicks: Kaja Budeau (Van Horn) and Jen Steidl. They are working for drinks and don't need your hassles! They will check to see that you've paid and give you your name badges.
6. Any left over funds will be given to our friend and classmate, Marvin Vetter, to helop with his medical expenses. Marv may make an appearance on Friday night!
7. Anyone interested in golfing, please email Spencer or Scott!
8. Saturday at 10:00 am, Lynette Olson is giving a tour of CHS...take a look at all the changes and then zip down to the picnic!
9. We will be sending a reunion memories cd after the reunion, so don't expect anything at the door except your name badge! I thought it would be fun to have pictures from the weekend included in the cd! There will be disposable cameras on the tables and we encourage everyone after the event to send in their photos as well!
10. MIXER! Remember that this is not included in the price and you will be paying at the door. There will be a BHS table and a CHS table right when you walk into the entry of Apple Creek Country Club. The "Check-in Chicks" will take your money, honey! Then you will be free to roam, eat and drink!
